The books range from levels A-J or grades K-2. The books can be found at the library in the youth area on the spinner labeled Early Readers. The kits indicate the level of each book inside.
The Olympic Reading Program runs through March 31st, 2022. Click the Kaukauna Library Link for more information.
Our health room at Tanner School is in need of gently used size 4, 5, 6 & 7 pants for both boys and girls and gently used boys shoes. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Also, please remember to send an extra set of clothes in your child's backpack. Thank you!

What is number sense? It is the ability to work flexibly and fluently with numbers!Looking for some easy ways to build number sense with your child?
Here are a few ideas:
- Practice counting while you are riding in the car, or walking up/down stairs, waiting in line.
- Use a deck of cards and turn over one card. Then count to that number.
- Turn over a card and add ten more. Repeat this several times. Have your child count to the number you land on. (1st Grade)
- Ex. Turn over 3 +10=13. Turn over another card-5. 13 +5=18. 18 +10=28. Turn over another card-7. 28 +7=35. 35 + 10=45. Have your child count to 45.
- Use dice.
- Roll one die and count to that number. (4K)
- Roll two dice and count to that number (K)
